Del Mar College Nurse Education Department’s Class of Summer 2026 Honors Ceremony and Nurse Pinning Ceremony
They’ve dedicated themselves to caring for others as Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs), or they’ve already gone down those paths and are now receiving Del Mar College’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, or RN to BSN degree. These current and future healthcare professionals will receive their pins and recite the time-honored Florence Nightingale Pledge while holding battery-operated lanterns during the DMC Nurse Education Department’s Class of Summer 2026 Nurse Pinning Ceremony at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, in Richardson Performance Hall on the Heritage Campus. Prior to the pinning event, the department will also hold at 5 p.m. an Honors Ceremony to recognize exceptional students’ hard work, which is also scheduled in Richardson Performance Hall. For family, friends and interested community members who can’t make the ceremonies, Del Mar College will livestream both events for viewing on computers and digital devices.
