Nueces Electric Cooperative (NEC) will host its Annual Meeting on Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds in Robstown. This year’s meeting, themed “The Power of Membership,” will bring NEC members together to learn more about their cooperative, connect with fellow members, and take part in the evening’s activities.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with the meeting beginning at 7 p.m. Members in attendance will receive a $10 bill credit and will have the opportunity to participate in door prize drawings throughout the evening. A barbecue dinner will also be provided for members and guests beginning when the doors open.
During the meeting, NEC leadership will provide members with an overview of the cooperative’s operations and share financial information from the 2025 fiscal year. NEC’s Annual Meeting is also an opportunity for members to learn more about the cooperative’s work in the communities it serves and the role members play in shaping the future of NEC.
The Annual Meeting is open to all NEC members. Members are encouraged to attend and take advantage of the evening’s dinner, bill credit, door prize drawings, and the opportunity to learn more about their cooperative.
