Get ready for an electrifying experience as Del Mar Drama presents their Lightning Bolt Theatre with “Lightning Strikes Again!,” a one-night only production scheduled Friday, Nov. 22, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Sue Sellors Finley Theatre on Del Mar College’s Heritage Campus. And, it’s FREE!
This sensational showcase features DMC Drama majors performing seven original monologues and scenes about what it’s like to be a college student in November 2024. All scenes have been written and produced by Drama majors after spending an inspiring semester that included collaboration with Del Mar Drama alumnus Alex Garza and “Greater Tuna” co-writer Jaston Williams––both renowned professional actors and playwrights––to learn more about their craft from these talented individuals. First-hand experiences with these professionals have given Del Mar Drama’s talented students the impetus to create unforgettable characters and stories that present the audience an opportunity to witness the magic of emerging talent!
