VFW Roy E. Davis Post 2375 will commemorate its 85th year of service to Veterans and the Kingsville community with two major events in November in honor of Veterans Day.
On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, VFW Post 2375 will host the annual Kleberg County Veterans Day Parade at 5:30 p.m. in historic downtown Kingsville. This year’s parade will include prizes for the best entries, making the tradition even more engaging for participants and spectators.
The event remains a cornerstone of the community’s observances, providing residents with the opportunity to pay tribute to local heroes. After the Parade the community is invited to join VFW Post 2375 and other local Veterans for dinner at Mesquite House BBQ.
Line-up to begin at 4:30 pm, with a step-off at 5:30 pm, in the parking lot next to the old Armory Building on Kleberg Avenue and 11th Street (close to the Kleberg County Courthouse).
The route will continue down Kleberg Avenue towards the US Post Office, then turn right onto 6th Street, then another right on E. Yoakum Avenue, returning to the parade starting point next to the Old Armory. The route is subject to change due to permit finalization, safety concerns, and/or determination by the Parade Committee to better serve the flow of not only the parade but also traffic before, during, and after. We will keep parade participants and the public updated.
Judging Criteria for Parade Entries: Entries will be evaluated in the following categories: After the event, certificates will be sent to the sponsor and advertised on social media and in the local newspaper.
