Don't let your holiday tree become landfill waste. Give your tree a second life by recycling it. Once collected, holiday trees are turned into nutrient-rich mulch. Trees must be bare. Remove all tinsel, lights, ribbons, and ornaments. Flocked trees with artificial snow are not accepted.
Drop off your tree 24/7 at the J.C. Elliott Transfer Station (7001 Ayers Street) from December 26 to January 31, 2026, or set it out during your scheduled brush/bulky collection dates.
Bonus: Residents can also pick up free mulch from the J.C. Elliott Transfer Station during operating hours.
