“They’re here!” … just like that famous line from the horror flick “Poltergeist,” it’s time for Del Mar College’s Viking Halloween Carnival! Bones will clatter and teeth will chatter as the DMC Student Leadership & Campus Life Office and Registered Student Organizations (student clubs) hold the popular spooky fun fair on Friday, Oct. 27, at the Windward Campus in the Emergency Training Building (FEMA Dome). Featuring goblins and games, a haunted house, prizes for best child and adult costume categories, food and fun for everyone, DMC’s traditional carnival promises a howling good time. As a fundraising event for the College’s student clubs, participation helps these groups raise money for their organizations and the worthy campus and community causes they support. So, if you’re looking for some pre-Halloween fun, join Del Mar College as organizers “scare up” an old-fashioned “ghoul” time!
