The Corpus Christi Public Libraries are having a two-day Folklorico Workshop for ages 5 to 17 to take place on Saturday, July 6, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. and Monday, July 8, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Ben F. McDonald Public Library, 4044 Greenwood Drive.
All skill levels are welcome, and the workshop will be provided by instructor Sandra Rillo. Attendees will learn traditional steps, spins, and footwork. A final presentation where participants will showcase their newfound skills will take place on Wednesday, July 10, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
