National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Residents can safely and anonymously dispose of unneeded, expired, or unwanted medications at two Nueces County drop-off locations: Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District (1702 Horne Road) and CVS Pharmacy in partnership with the Robstown Police Department (1000 North First Street, Robstown).
The Drug Enforcement Administration event aims to prevent drug misuse and abuse. Collection sites cannot accept syringes, sharps, or illicit drugs, and liquid products must remain sealed in original containers with tight caps.
