DMC Singer’s Theatre and Choral Ensembles

Don’t miss this choral extravaganza as the Del Mar College Music Department presents back-to-back performances by the College’s Concert Choir and Chamber Singers and then the Singer’s Theatre starting at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 19, in Wolfe Recital Hall on the Heritage Campus.

First, the Concert Choir and Chamber Singers offer a musical potpourri of selections from composers such as Henry Purcell, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and John Lennon. During the second half of the concert, the Singer’s Theatre will present an original comedy, “Harmony in the Multiverse.” 

This whimsical tale of three princesses who stumble upon an extraordinary adventure features songs from acclaimed musicals such as “Mary Poppins,” “Oliver!,”  “Gigi,” “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,” “Pickwick” and “Wicked.” Written and directed by DMC faculty member Raphael Rada, “Harmony in the Multiverse” performers will be accompanied by pianist Michael Steele. This one musical evening is free and open to the public.
