DMC Music Department Presents a Faculty Recital: “Songs and Dances”

In celebration of International Trombone Week, Del Mar College’s Music Department presents “Songs and Dances,” a concert highlighting works based in lyricism and dance and featuring the trombone in several different and unusual instrumental combinations beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 10, in Wolfe Recital Hall on the Heritage Campus.. Performers include DMC Music faculty members Dr. Donald Pinson on tenor and bass trombone, pianist Dr. David Sutanto, Dr. Jay Kacherski on guitar; Dr. Daniel Miller on trumpet; Karl Kemm on horn and percussionist Dr. Neil Sisauyhoat. Special guests, Dr. Rai Morales, Professor of Trombone at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, and Del Mar College trombone students Benjamin Aldana and Nathaniel Uvalle will also join the DMC faculty musicians for an engaging evening of music that is free and open to the public.
