Each year, contemporary artists from across the United States submit their two- and three-dimensional work with the hope their pieces will make it into Del Mar College’s CAIN National Art Show. Juried by Brooklyn-born artist Tabitha Whitley, the Art Program with the Art and Drama Department presents the 60th annual show on exhibit through Friday, April 17, in Cain Gallery located in the Fine Arts Center on Heritage Campus. The 2026 CAIN National Art Show attracted 985 entries with 55 selected for exhibition, including 25 sculptures and 30 two-dimensional artworks. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 9 a.m. to noon on Fridays. Visit the Cain Gallery web page at delmar.edu/offices/art/gallery.html.
