The new season for the Del Mar College Music Department’s Chamber Orchestra begins! On Sunday, Sept. 28, join this ensemble of talented musicians making up the college’s community orchestra––the Corpus Christi Chamber Orchestra at Del Mar College––as they perform Beethoven’s Egmont Overture, Op.84, Schubert’s Symphony #3 in D Major, D. 485 and the Peasant Dance from “The Bartered Bride” by Friedrich Smetana. Under the direction of Music faculty member Todd Ehle, the performance begins at 4 p.m. in Richardson Performance Hall on the Heritage Campus with student, faculty and community musicians promising an afternoon of engaging repertoire. The concert is free and open to the public.
