CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi will host a dedication ceremony for a new helicopter monument at Sherrill Veterans Memorial Park on Thursday, February 5, at 10:00 a.m.
The United States Army Bell Huey Helicopter represents the service and sacrifice of the City’s military veterans. The helicopter rests on a 15-foot-high steel pedestal in the park's southeast section. A new 8,200-square-foot path of concrete pavers surrounds the monument.
