The Coastal Bend Pride Center will be celebrating Día de los Muertos Miniature Altar Display. We are inviting the LGBTQIA+ community and the general public to participate in this day of remembrance for our loved ones who have departed by honoring them with a miniature “Ofrenda” (Altar). Altars can be made in a small shoe box or container of similar size and decorated with pictures of a loved ones who have passed, with their favorite food, trinkets, flowers, etc. All Miniature Altars can be dropped off at our Coastal Bend Pride Center. Deadline for drop off is October 26, 2021.
The public is invited to view the Miniature Altars on Thursday and Friday, October 28 and 29 from 12:00pm – 3pm and Monday, November 1, from 12:00 to 5pm at the Coastal Bend Pride Center located at 2882 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas.
