Join the Corpus Christi Chamber Orchestra at Del Mar College––the institution’s ensemble for campus and community musicians––for an afternoon of engaging repertoire on Sunday, Nov. 16, in Richardson Performance Hall on the Heritage Campus. Beginning at 4 p.m. under the direction of Music Professor Todd Ehle, the chamber orchestra’s performance includes Franz Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 101, “The Clock,” along with featured guitar soloist and DMC Assistant Professor Dr. Jay Kacherski performing Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto in D Minor for Guitar, RV 93.
The chamber orchestra will also present a world premiere of “Until the Journey Ends” by Jania M. Barnes and Antonin Dvorak’s Slavonic Dance No. 4. What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than with music performed by DMC faculty and students and members of the community. The performance is free and open to the public.
