Instruments and voices will come together as the DMC’s Corpus Christi Chamber Orchestra at Del Mar College, the Del Mar Choral Ensembles––including the DMC Master Chorus, Concert Choirs and Chamber Singers––and the Corpus Christi Chorale present Morten Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna or “Eternal Light” during a free concert on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 4 p.m. in Richardson Performance Hall on the college’s Heritage Campus. Composed in 1997, Lux Aeterna is one of the most beloved American choral works of the late 20th century and cherished for its serene beauty, glowing harmonies and deep sense of peace. This is one Sunday afternoon music event you don’t want to miss!
