City Secretary Rebecca Huerta held a drawing on Friday, August 21, to decide the order of names on the ballot for the upcoming City Council election on November 3. The candidates had until Monday, August 24, to withdraw their names from the ballot.

The last day to register to vote for this election is Monday, October 5. Visit votetexas.gov for information.
Early voting in person will be held from Monday, October 19, through Friday, October 30.
The last day for the Nueces County Clerk to receive an Application for Ballot by Mail is Friday, October 23, by 5:00 p.m.
Election Day and the last day for a vote-by-mail ballot to be received if carrier envelope is not postmarked is Tuesday, November 3.
