The Corpus Christi Police Department is currently accepting applications for the 56th Citizen's Police Academy.

The Citizen's Police Academy is a 12-week program designed to gain firsthand knowledge of police responsibility. The program will include a ride-along with a patrol officer. Classes will include presentations from SWAT, Gang, Bomb, Dive, K9s, Drones and so much more!

Classes will be held every Thursday beginning on April 16, 2026, from 6:30-9:30 pm.
