The Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation announced the return of its 4th Annual Kleberg County Back to School Bash, hosted in collaboration with Driscoll Health Plan and Kleberg County District Attorney Kira Talip.
This family-friendly event will take place on:

This no-cost event is open to the entire community and promises a fun-filled day for all ages. Attendees will enjoy access to 500 free backpacks for early arrivals and a wide array of health services for children and families. Services include:
Sports Physicals (pre-registration required)
Vaccinations
Health Screenings
Community resources and giveaways
100 Foot Inflatable Obstacle Course
Bouncy House, Activities, and Games for kids
This event is all about setting up families for a healthy and successful school year. The Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation Youth Programs Department is proud to partner with dedicated organizations like Driscoll Health Plan and the Kleberg County District Attorney’s Office to provide essential services and a fun day for the community.
The energetic and passionate Youth Programs department of the Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation works with community members, partners, and elected officials to further our mission to promote self-efficacy by teaching prevention skills to youth who are at risk for substance misuse through evidence-based substance misuse curriculum. Our school curriculum teaches participants resiliency skills -intended to help prevent youth from making the decision to use alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.
