The Tamalada Festival is an educational, family-friendly event that is free and open to the public. The festival brings together presenters from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and the South Texas community to celebrate and education on the history, contributions and cultural value of tamales, corn, and tamaladas.
The Tamalada Festival is also a part of Texas A&M University-Kingsville’s Family Weekend festivities and Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. For more information, click here.
