As we remember the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, several free event will be taking place in Kingsville, Texas to honor first responders, and reflect together as a community.
Thursday, September 10 - 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb Javelina Stadium Gather at 6:30 AM | Climb begins at 7:00 AM. Join in a symbolic workout in remembrance of 9/11. Refreshments will be provided.
Friday, September 11 - First Responder Appreciation Breakfast Mr. Jaime’s Taqueria 7:00–9:00 AM. Local first responders are invited to stop by for a free taco as a thank-you for their service to our community.
25th Anniversary Commemorative Ceremony. Javelina Stadium 9:00 AM. Join the community as we reflect and honor our first responders. This event is free and open to the public.
9/11 Remembrance Concert - Never Forgotten Dr. Steven H. Tallant Music Building Performance Hall 7:00 PM. Presented by Texas A&M University-Kingsville, with performances by the Wind Symphony, Concert Choir, Jazz Band, and School of Music faculty. Free admission.
