Bones will clatter, and teeth will chatter. It’s time for Del Mar College’s annual Viking Fall Carnival hosted by the Office of Student Leadership & Campus Life and the college’s Registered Student Organizations (student clubs).
This spooky fun fair is set for Friday, Oct. 30, from 5 to 10 p.m. in the Harvin Student Center on the Heritage Campus. Featuring goblins and games, a haunted house and prizes for best child and adult costumes, along with food and fun for everyone, this traditional carnival promises a howling good time.
As a fundraising event for the College’s student clubs, participation helps these groups raise money for their organizations and the campus and community causes they support. So, if you’re looking for some additional fun the night before Halloween, join Del Mar College as organizers “scare up” an old-fashioned “ghoul” time. Entry is free with $1 ticket sales for games, food and other activities. Cash sales only for tickets, but ATMs are in the facility. Early trick-or-treaters from the public are welcome.
