Del Mar College’s Music Department invites high school juniors and seniors to apply for this year’s two-day Educational Symposium and First Chair Honor Band Concert scheduled Friday and Saturday, Jan. 30-31, on the DMC Heritage Campus. During the symposium, students will participate in masterclasses with DMC Music faculty, and seniors who plan to attend DMC as a music major in fall 2026 can also sign up for a music scholarship audition. The symposium culminates with a free public performance at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, in Richardson Performance Hall. Student participation during the two-day symposium is $50.
