The End DV Task Force is inviting members of the community to join local officials in recognizing Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Kingsville on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026.
Two proclamations will be presented that day recognizing October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Kleberg County and the City of Kingsville.
Kleberg County Proclamation
Time: 1:30 p.m.
Location: Commissioner’s Meeting, Courthouse Annex at the Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office - 700 E Kleberg Ave., Kingsville.
City of Kingsville Proclamation
Time: 5 p.m.
Location: Kingsville City Hall - 200 E Kleberg Ave., Kingsville.
The End DV Task Force encourages residents, community organizations and supporters to attend the proclamations and help raise awareness about domestic violence and the resources available to those affected.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to recognize survivors, remember those affected by domestic violence, and promote education, prevention and community support.
