Now in it's 14th year, proceeds from the Monster Mash Cupcake Dash directly benefit the community through the programs of Family Counseling Service. We are able to provide equitable access to high quality mental health care to all who seek it, thanks to the generosity of our community. Such generosity allows us to continue to fulfill our mission of strengthening children, individuals and families in the Coastal Bend. FCS has been serving the Coastal Bend since 1942. Each year we provide over 10,000 hours of mental health and crime victim services in Nueces and surrounding counties. Many of those we serve are uninsured or underinsured. For this reason we rely on events to raise funds to help cover the cost of therapy for the community.
This year's annual race is Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Water's Edge Park and will include the rewarding complement of a cupcake at the finish line.
There will be a costume contest with three divisions: (1) children 12 and under; (2) those who are 13 or older; and (3) best team/group costume.
