John Davis, District Chief for Nueces County Emergency Services District number 3 (ESD #3), has confirmed that a second firefighter has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a phone interview, Davis said the Bishop firefighter and local resident has not been in contact with any of the fire station within the last three weeks.
“Firefighters continue to use the proper PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) masks and gloves at all times, and the firefighter will self- quarantine for the next two weeks.”
This is the third resident from Bishop with the coronavirus.
We reached out to the city of Bishop who could not confirmed the information.
