ROBSTOWN, TEXAS - (News Release) In the early morning of Aug. 16th, while on patrol, Pct. Five Deputies arrested twenty two year old male for Driving Under The Influence of Alcohol and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. Deputies responded to the area of FM 666 and FM 624 for a vehicle parked on the roadway. When deputies arrived, a twenty two year old male later identified as Jesus Enrique Gutierrez was found semi-unconscious behind the wheel of his vehicle by a Sheriff’s Deputy. After being unable to perform required field sobriety tests, Gutierrez was arrested for D.W.I and transported to the Nueces County Jail. Gutierrez was also charged with being in possession of a weapon while under the influence.

In a separate incident, twenty-seven year old Juanita K. Luna out of Robstown was arrested and charged with being in possession of more than four ounces of Marijuana. Luna was pulled over late Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 14th, by Pct. 5 Deputies for a traffic violation. During the field contact, Luna was found to be in possession of Marijuana and was transported to the Nueces County Jail and incarcerated. Luna received a $5,000.00 bond on the charge.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
