Bishop Police Department

BISHOP, TEXAS (News Release) - On Sunday, February 25, 2024, at approximately 5:10 pm, Bishop Police Department Shift I Patrol Officers, along with Texas DPS Troopers, Nueces County E.S.D 3 Fire, and Nueces County ESD-6 EMS, were on the scene of a single vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 77 Southbound and FM 70, in Bishop, Texas.

No life-threatening injuries had been reported.

Traffic was diverted from the outside lanes of Highway 77 South and FM 70 which cause traffic delays in the area.

Texas DPS Troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
