The RV mobile medical vehicle was purchased through the Federal Surplus Program and was used prior by the VA Department of Veterans Affairs. The mobile clinic has undergone major modifications and repairs made possible through funding from the Nueces County Hospital District and Nueces County Commissioner Pct 2 project funds. The county hired the engineering firm of International Consulting Engineers for acquisition assistance, management, and coordination of the mobile clinic renovation, vehicle upgrades, and maintenance items.

The mobile outreach clinic will be used to provide a variety of healthcare services to our rural communities partnering with local medical community agencies and the city-Operated Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District as part of their cooperative agreement.
