CORPUS CHRISTI (News Release) – The City of Corpus Christi announced that virtual public comments will now be available for regular City Council Meetings. Citizens will have the option to call in or make video public comments during the noon public comment period beginning January 25, 2022. Details on how to sign up will be available no later than Monday, January 24, 2022, on the City’s website. In-person comments will still be available for those who prefer this option.

“In an effort to make public comments more convenient and accessible, I am working with staff to provide call-in and virtual (video) comments,” said Mayor Paulette Guajardo. “Resident input is vital to the democratic process, and we are committed to that process.”

To speak during the noon public comment period, persons must sign up before the meeting begins. Persons may sign up in-person in the Council Chambers or electronically using the following link: https://www.cctexas.com/signin. Electronic sign-up opens the Monday before the Tuesday Regular Council meeting at 8:00 a.m. and closes at the beginning of the Council meeting (11:30 a.m.).
