Corpus Christi Police Department

On July 8th, 2024, at about 8:59 am a female walked into the Municipal Court entrance at the Main Police Station (321 John Sartain St.) and told security she believed someone put a bomb in her vehicle.

Officers with the Corpus Christi Bomb Squad were called out to assist. It was decided to shelter in place at the time while the threat was being investigated.

The bomb squad technicians were able to safely check the female’s vehicle, and determined there were no explosive devices.

The female will be taken to a local facility to be evaluated.
