Kleberg County Sheriff in Automobile Accident

KINGSVILLE (News Release) - The Kleberg County Sheriff’s office has confirmed that Kleberg County Sheriff, Richard Kirkpatrick, was in an automobile accident this morning and taken to Christus Spohn Hospital in Kingsville.
According to reports, Kirkpatrick was in front of his home in his work truck when a driver ran a stop sign and crashed into Kirkpatrick’s truck.
Kirkpatrick has been released from the hospital.
The crash is currently under investigation.
