CORPUS CHRISTI (News Release) - The City of Corpus Christi Human Resources Department will be hosting an All-City Department Hiring Event on Tuesday, April 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the American Bank Center in Exhibit Hall A, located at 1901 Shoreline Boulevard, in partnership with Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend. 

Over 15 City departments will be in attendance, including Public Works, Engineering, Water Utilities, Gas, Solid Waste, Police (civilian and uniformed positions), Parks and Recreation, Neighborhood Services, Libraries, Aviation, Finance, and IT.

There will be opportunities to network and interview with hiring managers on the day of the event. 

The City is looking to hire candidates with various skill sets and work experience. Positions include full-time, part-time, temporary, and seasonal opportunities.

Things to know:

• Free parking at the American Bank Center will be available to all job seekers

• Computer stations will be provided to complete job applications at the event

• City departments will be holding interviews for on-the-spot hiring

• The Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend Mobile Hiring Unit will be onsite, offering a full range of employment resources and career services to job seekers
