CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – (News Release) Phase 2 of the ongoing Bond 2018 Gollihar Road project has been completed. Starting Friday, August 2, the project will transition into Phase 3, requiring significant traffic changes.  

Beginning Friday, the westbound lane of Gollihar Road will be closed from Bernadino Street to Crosstown Expressway. Traffic will be redirected to the newly completed eastbound lanes, allowing two-way, single-lane traffic. Gollihar Road from Bernadino Street to Greenwood Drive remains fully closed.  

A detailed map is attached to visually represent the road work and traffic flow adjustments.  

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays, remain aware of the work zone, and follow posted signs.
