CORPUS CHRISTI - (News Release) At approximately 4:21 pm on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, Corpus Christi Police Officers responded to a robbery at a bank located on the 1400 block of S. Port.
Upon arrival, officers were advised that a robbery had just occurred. The suspect displayed a note demanding cash from the teller. The suspect and was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 40-50 years of age, approximately 5’08”- 5-10”, with tattoos on his right hand, wearing a maroon in color long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, traffic safety vest, a surgical mask which was used in an attempt to cover the lower part of his face and a black hat.
Investigators are also seeking to identify the driver and owner of a vehicle of interest. The vehicle appears to have damage or paint chipping on several parts of the vehicle; including the roof of the vehicle, along the body, and on the hood.
