CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Kleberg

KINGSVILLE (News Release) – CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Kleberg announced that
the Colston Wellness Center will open again to the community on Monday, November 1, 2021.
The reopening plan for the facility, which has been closed for over a year, will include measures
that keep the safety of Colston members and staff as the top priority.

Colston Wellness Center will welcome current and future members by offering a discounted
membership rate of $35 for a limited time.

Because COVID-19 is still present in our community, safety protocols will be in place for
members to follow. One of them will require people to wear a mask when entering and exiting
the Colston Wellness Center, as well as any time they are not actively exercising. The Colston
Wellness Center’s pool will be available by reservation.

“We know that many of our members have patiently waited to work out in the unique and
friendly environment of the Colston Wellness Center. We are grateful for their enthusiasm about
this facility and are thrilled to welcome them back,” said Rick Morin, President, CHRISTUS
Spohn Hospital Kleberg.

“The Colston Center has long been an advocate for wellness in Kingsville and surrounding
communities. It is a role that we are honored to have,” said Penny Merriman, Director of
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Wellness. “Whether you are just getting started or are
continuing your fitness journey, our doors are open to everyone in our region who wants to take
that step.”
