Car Fire Stops Traffic on U.S. Hwy 77 Near Bishop

BISHOP (News Release) - This morning around 8:35 am, Bishop PD patrol units and first responders were on the scene with a vehicle fire on U.S. Highway 77 south at the Nueces and Kleberg County line.
Southbound traffic on U.S. Highway 77 was stopped for a few hours to allow fire crews to safely extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
