CORPUS CHRISTI (News Release) – The City of Corpus Christi announced the reopening of the Animal Care Services facility to residents on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. The campus is located at 2626 Holly Road.

To celebrate the reopening of the facility, Animal Care Services will offer a 50% discount on all adoptions from Wednesday, May 26 through Wednesday, June 2, 2021. We hope to see Corpus Christi residents take advantage of the discounted adoption fee of $12.50 to give a home to a “fur-ever friend.”

All services will be made available to the public to include adoptions by appointment, walk-in visits, rescue pick-ups, and pet licensing.

Adoption appointments will be available Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 pm.

Walk-ins visits are welcomed Monday through Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Rescue organizations will be scheduled to pick up animals Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

For pet licenses, applications can be submitted online at cctexas.com or at the Animal Care Services facility Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

“I am very happy to see our Animal Care Services facility completely reopening to better serve our residents and animal services,” said Mayor Paulette M. Guajardo.

“Tomorrow marks a great day for our residents and pets needing a forever home in Corpus Christi. The reopening of our Animal Care facility is essential to providing our residents with vital resources to keeping our pets safe and healthy while awaiting a loving home,” said Councilman Ben Molina.
